Okay, everyone... do me a huge favour. Watch this trailer - it's 1 minute and 3 seconds long, so no excuse not to. :p

Now tell me you don't wanna read it... You know you do!

It's out on March 1st, but only in Australia and New Zealand for now. So if you want it, you can pre-order it here: http://www.borders.com.au/book/burn-bright/13557883/ (that's Australian dollars, not American, by the way).

Having read an early draft, I guarantee this is nothing like Twilight. <3 And if you happen to share this video and spread the word, that wouldn't go amiss. ;)

Looks reeeeeeeeally good!

Question, if I was to get my housemate into reading Marianne, where would I start her? She likes fantasy and/or vampires.

Do you mean sword-and-sorcery kinda fantasy? She doesn't write anything like that.

If she's a vampire fan, I would say probably start her with Burn Bright. You can only get it in Aus though, and it's not out till the 1st.

If she likes post-apocalyptic stuff, definitely get her Nylon Angel. That's book 1.

If she reads sci-fi stuff then Dark Space is the first one in the sci-fi quartet... it's a little bit Farscape-y, but a lot more serious and full of omg-my-planet-is-being-invaded-must-get-interplanetary-aid!

And if she likes crime/humour/paranormal chick lit stuff, the Tara Sharp series (Sharp Shooter is the first one) is about a woman who reads auras and tries to use that to be a kinda private investigator. Marianne's been compared to Janet Evanovich for that series.

Without knowing your friend it's hard to say... but Marianne's written a loooot of different stuff.
